AERIS™/OMERO™/ALX Pole Drilling Solutions

Situation: Need to mount an AERIS/OMERO/ALX fixture on a pole that has already been drilled with the standard template #5.

Solution No.1

You can cut the top of the pole off and simply re-drill the holes from the

AERIS/OMERO/ALX drilling template #8.

Solution No. 2

If there are not more than two fixtures being mounted on the pole, you can turn the pole 90° and drill new holes into the side(s) not yet drilled. Plug the existing holes. [Note: Plugs are only available in black]

Solution No. 3

Retro-fit the existing holes on the pole (drilled with template #5) in the field to accept the AERIS/OMERO/ALX mounting block. To do this, you need to keep the top hole (drill template #5) and drill two new holes (highlighted in red below). The original bottom hole gets plugged. This plug is barely visible after installing the AS1 and not seen at all when the AS2 is installed (pictures on next page).
